Then again, it's a trailer, and trailers are meant to sell games. I'll have to wait and see more gameplay footage from this title before I'm sold. The instant gun-to-sword switching is pretty cool though. I also like the part where the guy was just twirling his sword. If the game's motion controls are really that good then this should be awesome.
And by the way, I have no idea why it says "Destination PlayStation" at the start. That did get me thinking about how this game would look like if it was done using the Scimitar engine though.. That'd be sweet.
Red Steel 2 is slated for release later this year.

If I remember correctly, Ubisoft tried 1:1 during the development of Red Steel 1, but it turned out to be useless so they went with the gesture based control. I guess the WiiMotionPlus fixes that...
I also like how he switched from a sword to a gun fairly quickly.
Time will tell if this makes up for the original...
