The orange-draped ninja Naruto and the rest of the Leaf Village gang are back for more explosive anime-style fighting in Naruto: Clash of the Ninja Revolution (Namco Bandai). The game has been custom-fitted for western fans and the results from midway through the development are looking cool. Have a peek:

In the video, we can see some of the gameplay which reveals how the game will look and move. Sakura wins this round with some hard, chained hits made possible by the game's simple yet intuitive controls. Quick attacks, as the video shows, are essential if you want to become an elite fighter in this game. Speed kills when fighting at top levels and fast strikes will set you up in a position to land big combos.

The game ships later this year in the US and will reflect characters and levels which are consistent to where the anime series is in the region. That means there won't be any accidental spoilers or gaps which may drive away western fans of the series.

» Might be interesting

The series looks stupid from what I've seen, kinda like the dragon ballz crap, but I have to say this game looks pretty cool.

» Yeah

I've been reading the manga and watching the show since the beginning and it's ben pretty good up until recently. Now it's just getting old and sort of lame.

But these games (1-4 are on the Cube with only 1 and 2 here in the States) are a HUGE blast. 4 Player is the best in those :)
