We just got word that peripheral maker VDigi Electronics has a solution for gamers who want to connect their Wii units to a CRT or LCD monitor in the form of a VGA cable. According to the company, the cable is compatible with Wii units in all regions and is capable of producing high quality VGA output. Bah, looking back and more closely, what I posted isn't going to work. That cord is designed to go FROM VGA to RCA, not the other way around. There are other choices, though, like http://www.x2vga.com/ That's just one example, and I have seen them for around the same price as one set of these cords, and the box isn't system-specific. I still wish my cheaper-than-crap solution would work, though...
RCA to VGA would look like crap, though.
