The US Virtual Console is getting three new classic games for New Year's Eve: Bubble Bobble, Light Crusader and Top Hunter. It's always good to look back on the classic games before welcoming the new one in. The games already went live a few hours ago.
The first game is the cute classic platformer, Bubble Bobble, featuring tiny bubble dragons Bub and Bob (pictured above). The game is worth 500 Wii Points and sports new game mechanics. Essentially you have to help the two dragons rescue their girlfriends.
The second game, Light Crusader, is worth 800 points. Light Crusader is an RPG game where you have to step into the metal boots of the knight Sir David to solve the mystery of the disappearing townsfolk of Green Row.
The last game is Top Hunter and is worth 900 Wii points. You'll have to take control of either Roddy or Cathy, bounty hunters in a far future. You'll have to defeat Captain Klapton, leader of the Space Pirates who are terrorizing the galaxy.
