GameStop deal for Wii Play - Image 1

Honestly, there are some video game titles that you are good, but may not be that good to actually prompt one to actually buy a copy of it. After all, we're not millionaires here, and at times, we have to be selective with which titles to buy. If you're having that feeling about Wii Play, then this could be a good day for you.

Retail chain GameStop is currently selling used copies of Wii Play for just US$ 19.99. According to them, the used copy is guaranteed to work properly on your console, but that it may not include the box or the instructional manual. It's not that you need the manuals anyway, because as you all know, Wii Play is very similar to another pick-up-and-play hit Nintendo title, Wii Sports.

Nintendo of America's Senior VP of Marketing and Corporate Communications George Harrison was quoted back in mid-February, saying that Nintendo actually hopes that it will be bigger that the first compilation of games. Wii Play was originally priced for US$ 39.99 and US$ 49.99 if bundled with a Wiimote.

Take note though, that unlike before, the GameStop used-copy deal doesn't include the Wiimote. At any rate, in case you're interested, the Read link below will take you directly to the retail store's product page.

For what reason would you buy this? It's essentially more expensive used, as a Wii Remote is $39.99 and the game is $49.99 new, meaning $10 for the game itself.

Yep Ryura I thought the same thing. I bought the game and didn't like it, but then realized it was only $10 cause I got a wiimote. 19.99 you have to be stupid.
