WiiTeam-DSX has just announced that Wii Tabs BETA is now available. Similar to DS Tabs 2 (in fact they're virtually alike, aside from a difference in consoles and a few cosmetic differences), Wii Tabs BETA lets you use tabs on your Nintendo Wii browser.

There are two different versions of Wii Tabs BETA: the Basic version and the Legit version. The Basic version doesn't require a login, but also doesn't have the features of the Legit version. All it can do is make tabs. The Legit version, on the other hand, has the following new features (which you can choose to modify or disable):
  • Search Bar + show/hide
  • Clock + show/hide + date tab
  • Homepage
Here are the instructions, straight from Team-DSX:

All you have to do is make an account on team-dsx.net by going to team-dsx.net/join and you can use Wii Tabs with your Wii for free. Once you visit the Legit version on your DS, you will have to log in. But, once you log in, you'll never have to do it again, all you have to do is bookmark the page that comes after log in. And now your password doesn't show in the status bar!

According to team-DSX, the next release will include bookmark support, so watch out for that. Keep checking back here at QJ for updates.

The website might have exceeded its bandwidth or something. Try checking back later. :)

You aren't required to pay for the "Legit" version. Simply register on their website, which is free. xD

» Yes

Yes, it is simply a webpage emulating tabs. A proper homebrew addon or new webbrowser isn't possible at this time.
