U.S. Wii Virtual Console gets Yoshi's Cookie, Bases Loaded

Nintendo of America has announced that gamers in the US can expect to get both Yoshi's Cookie and Bases Loaded on the Wii Virtual Console service this week. These NES games were pretty popular back in the day so you might want to check them out.

Yoshi's Cookie is a puzzle game for one to two players. Players have to make cookies disappear by creating rows of similar cookies. Single player mode has around 100 stages so expect to spend some time trying to finish the game. If you plan on downloading Yoshi's Cookie, expected it to go for 500 Wii Points.

Bases Loaded, on the other hand, is a one to two player baseball game that sports fans will probably remember fondly. The game has 12 teams and 30 different players to choose from. Those looking for a replayable title will be pleased to know that the Bases Loaded has both single game and campaign mode. Expect this title to be available for 500 Wii Points.
