Harvest Moon SNES - Image 1Nintendo has announced that it has released both Lords of Thunder (TurboGrafx-16) and Harvest Moon (SNES) on the North American Wii Virtual Console service. Both games are considered classics in their own right and should satisfy old school gamers looking for some old school gaming goodness.

Hudson Soft's Lords of Thunder is a side-scrolling shooter which puts players in the shoes of a knight named Landis as he tries to defeat Zaggard and his six generals. Expect this game to go for 800 Wii points.

Natsume's Harvest Moon on the SNES, the first of the Harvest Moon series, is a farming game which has players raising crops and livestock. Once the farm is up and running, players can then turn their attention to finding a suitable wife and raising a family. If this sounds interesting, then you can pick this title up for 800 Wii points.
