With the countdown to the Wii's release starting to wind down, the deluge of Wii promotions have begun to go on full swing all over the world. With it's UK print ads and its appearance in a German TV show, Nintendo seems keen on their plans for world and market domination.

Courtesy of GoNintendo and AussieNintendo, we currently have some more samples of the Wii's international appearances. For example, an Australian K-mart flier already features the Wii alongside other games and consoles, while another flyer comes from Switzerland, showing the Wii, its accessories as well as list of launch and upcoming titles.

In the meantime, EB Games in Australia is starting to fill up their Wii sections with console and game boxes (or are those really just boxes...?) to give people a taste of things to come. And as we move on to the other side of the world, Nintendo star-child has also been spotted in Mexican game stores, as shown in a video that was taken by emmiranda.

With all this excitement building up, one can't help but start wishing that the release of this console would somehow miraculously come faster than we hope.

FTW, indeed.

Update: And a gigantic ad has been spotted at Toys R Us in Times Square. You can't tell, but we're doing happy dances as we write this update to Kristine's article.
