Upcoming Wii Fatal Frame a remake of Crimson Butterfly?

One of the games that Nintendo showed in the Wii lineup is a Fatal Frame game. The thing is, though, a few good looks at these screenshots indicate scenes that we may have already seen before. Is this upcoming title a remake of Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly?

From these screens, we can see that twins Mayu and Mio will indeed be in a future Wii Fatal Frame game. On closer inspection, we can see the familiar descent into the cursed village, as well as a few other scenes that we've seen from Crimson Butterfly.

Nintendo or Koei Tecmo have yet to clarify if it's indeed a remake, or if the twins are simply going for a second trip down into the cursed village.

i really wanted to see Fatal Frame: Lunar Moon come to the PS3 or at least an NTSC version of the game.

i just beat FF2-crimson butterfly on the PS2 a few months ago. it will be a while before i play it again but nonetheless it will be a great remake for the newer generation to play it for their first time.

Why are people even doubting this is a remake of Crimson Butterfly. Just look at the scene shots, they are in-game photographs, not flash backs.
