Ubisoft - Image 1"Games for Everyone" - that's the new product strategy of Ubisoft. Basically, this means that Ubisoft will start to make games specifically for consoles, with the console's audience in mind.

At the Ubidays 07 event in Paris, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot spoke to MCV and said that this new plan of theirs is a push at targeting different markets he expounds:

Our approaches to the market are different now – we consider that each set of machines has its own population of consumers and customers, and we have to make sure we cater to each of them.

The key is not to think how we used to do things – we have to consider that some machines demand different approaches to the games industry than other consoles.

In light of this, the absence of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 now makes a bit more sense (Reports so far suggest a Wii and a DS release for those crazy Rabbids.).

Does this mean that because of their "Games For Everyone" strategy we'll see more Tom Clancy and Prince of Persia games for the PS3 and the Xbox 360? Will we see more creative wackiness on the Wii and the DS? We certainly hope so.
