Twilight Princess glitch keeps gamer from continuing |

Dustinsoftware notes that a bug in the cannon room makes it seemingly impossible to warp the cannon out of the room if you save there. An NPC is supposed to leave the room with the cannon, allowing you to warp the cannon out. The problem is, saving seems to make the NPC disappear from view, but the game still registers that character as being in the room. Attempting to warp the cannon prompts your fairy to mention that someone's still watching you even when no one is there. At the same time, trying to exit the room prompts a conversation with the invisible NPC, with him asking you where you were going.
Essentially, you're stuck in a room where you're unable to warp out or transform under any circumstances, and attempting to exit forces a conversation that locks you in. Where's Zelda when Link needs her, eh? Until Nintendo addresses this issue, however, you'd probably want to watch this video and make sure not to save in that area.

...Though this should not be happening. That sucks. I'd hate to have to start over after getting that far.

how many bugs have we seen thru the games thruout the years for console games? are anyone of them ever fixed?

1. Patches for console games started on the Xbox 360. Almost every game that's come out for that system can be updated with patches. Gears of War, came with an update on the first day to address some issues. Oblivion had patches to remove glitches that allowed for infinite gold.
2. The Nintendo Wii is capable of doing this as well. Remember the comment from some nintendo guy who was important to the zelda: tp creation. I forget his name, but he talked about downloadable content for the game. Now take a look at the virtual console help system. Pay attention to the topic about "Updates" to games.
So yes, a patch is more possible now, than there ever was in the history of console gaming. So think before you talk out of your ass with racial comments.
That said, I don't think a patch will come out simply because that was probably a fluke. If it was more widespread maybe but I've experienced fatal glitches in games before on the cube for example, which as far as I know only I managed to get affected by.

Zelda could get patched like the 360 but about that... Anyone remember Dead Rising? That had some really annoyingly small text but for some reason Capcom said this couldn't be fixed with a patch. Also Halo 2 actually has been patched before, but as many of you may know you can still super bounce out of the map along with numerous other glitches. However, Bungie claims these exploits can't be patched either.
The fact is that don't get your hopes up for a patch because it isn't always a possibility because, as stated above, the disks are... well... disks so it really isn't all THAT simple especially given that there has been no mention of games receiving a patch for the Wii up until this, whereas for the 360 we knew this could be done prior to even the consoles launch.

He types like a complete moron, and he is probably 12. He doesn't understand any logic.
First of all, patches have been out since Nintendo 64. Patched come in different forms:
- Different game versions with updates
- Downloadable patches via Internet
- Upgrade Disc
To fix this bug in Zelda would take maximum one hour to make for Nintendo.
For example on PS2: SOCOM US Navy Seals had the ability to jump 40 feet forward. Think about it. That's a BIG update.
When you read his post, don't be angry. Just laugh. Think about how young he actually is. Remember when it was cool when you were 10 and on a forum thinking your the top dog? That's what he thinks right now.
Patches have been occuring for over 20 years.
Yes they are possible, and this bug will probably be fixed in the next system update internally or a seperate download when the Forecast and Weather Channel become available for use to public.
PS: This guy says QJ sucks and all, yet he sits on the site all day just to respond to the next person because he has no friends or life, at the age of 12.
Hell, he'll probably respond to mine soon after just because I'm flaming him.
All in all, a patch will be released.
