Wii Twilight Hack - Image 1Team Twiizers has updated Twilight Hack to v0.1 Alpha 2. For those unfamiliar with this application, it allows users to run ELF files on their Wii using an exploit found in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This pretty much opens doors for homebrew on the said console.

This updated version now allows users to load ELF files from an SD card using an SD Gecko or similar device. According to the readme file, there is currently an 8 MB limit on the ELF File size so be advised when coding your own application.

That said, go ahead and download this application and try it out. Be sure to go over the documentation for full instructions on how to use this program and to avoid any unwanted problems.

This isn't for backups. At least, that's a long way off.... if ever.

This is just to run your own code (applications).

Why do we need an SD Gecko adapter, It wont read straight through the SD card reader?

We can not read that SD drive yet. No driver has been created yet to access it.
