Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Image 1There's another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game heading for the Nintendo Wii, and we're certainly not talking about the recent March 13 release. We have just picked up word that TMNT video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) has been spotted on the Virtual Console (VC) servers, which means that we will be looking at this new (old) title grace our Wii's online store soon.

This TMNT game was introduced to the NES back 1989, and was published Konami. This platformer game allowed players to choose Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo, or Michelangelo, each of whom had his own weapon characteristics and attack power. The game goes through five levels, and was notoriously hard for some players finish - especially if Donatello gets waxed early on.

Of course, we'll just have to wait for word on when Nintendo plans to release this old classic, with one exciting prospect being a simultaneous release with the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie by Warner Brothers this March 23. With this turtle classic now confirmed, we're beginning to wonder just when the company's planning to release Turtles in Time - admittedly the best of the bunch.

Decisively Difficult

While the game was fairly well done, It was incredibly hard. So much so that It has scarred me in such a way that I cannot ever play it again, much less buy it again, VC or otherwise.

What A Game!!

This game was quality when i had it when it first came out, could always get upto the technodrome level with all 4 turtles but then the difficulty would be so hard id lose them in a couple of minutes, frustrating but addictive game. I can't wait for my wii to arrive so i can relive this game and have the nightmares again lol

my first game

this was infact the first game i ever got. i could only get to the lest level with no continues or turtle wasted but once there i would use up everything. there were to many bad guys and long pits w/ spikes. and hey, the underwater part is one of the easiest parts, whait till you get farther doun the line.
