Time to split! Free Radical is working hard on TimeSplitters 4 |

One of the most anticipated FPS titles this year is Haze (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), but Free Radical has more in store for fans of new and old. The latest IP is sure to attract a wider audience, but loyal followers of TimeSplitters also have something to be happy about. After OPM UK revealed that a new TimeSplitters is in the works, Free Radical's Rob Yescombe confirmed that they're working hard on the fourth installation in the series."In the past TimeSplitters has been very satirical at the expense of movies, this time it will be satirical at the expense of video games," Yescombe told Kotaku. What crazy ideas they're planning with this promise, we do not know.
The game is still in very early stages of development, so no confirmations on which platform it will come out yet. All Yescombe could say was they're "unsigned at the moment." As long as the monkeys and hilarious weapons are back, we're all good.

finally. i love this game so much, especially the ability to make your own stage and play with it online. i can't wait. this is very big news to me. very fun game.
YES YES YES YES YES.....IF THERE WAS ANY FRANCHISE THAT DESERVES A SEQUEL IT HAS TO BE TIMESPLITTERS. THIS FRANCHISE OFFERS THE VERY BEST OF MULTIPLAYER OFFLINE AND ONLINE. THIS IS THE BEST NEWS FOR NEXT GEN CONSOLES THUS FAR.

Hence it's coming to the PC and 360 sometime after the PS3 release (not sure how long though).
I can't wait to see what free radical have up their sleeves this time. Free radical are the best.
If thi became a 360 exclusive it's quite possibly the only game that would make me swap my PS3 for a 360. Let's hope it comes out on the PS3.
Free Radical has History with Microsoft. (Read Microsoft bought Rare Ware and they split to form Free Radical). As of yet, I don't think that they're in very good standing with the good 'ol boys of Redmond.

Yeah they split from Rare ages ago, but they still managed to produce Timsplitters 2+3 for the xbox. Second sight aswell, get your facts right frist you fool.
Hmm i wonder what the story wil be though. It ended in 3 with cortez saving the future.
Second Sight and Timesplitters were all great games, I had them all for the PS2. I can't wait for the 360 version!
What the hell is with the Haze for pc and 360 too. I mean it was announced in an interview, check gametrailers, that the game would be completely exclusive to the ps3 and will NOT come to other consoles (don't know if that includes pc).
He probably meant for this year but forgot to say it, as its been known for a while now that it is goin to 360 and pc in 2008 ala UT3

Therefore Free Radical don't have any problems with Microsoft, it's just that the PS2 was their lead console last gen, and so the PS3 is their lead console this gen.
If they expand on the Future Perfect map maker, this will blow other FPSs out of the water
It would be cool, but there are many other FPSs which I expect to be better than TS4. I have to admit, I was never really a TS fan to begin with. I found the series fun, but nothing special (for me).

Free radical will create the game for both no matter what. Free radical preffer the PS3 anyway.
