We finally see something new for the promising first-person shooter game for the Wii, The Conduit. The Wii's slowly stockpiling its list of hardcore titles, but this one was the first to take that jump. See what the game has to offer in this new trailer:

Pretty wicked for a Wii game, and I can't wait to see how they've configured the Wii controls. It's been announced before that the game won't support the new MotionPlus accessory after all, but chatting through WiiSpeak is still a go. I have high hopes for this game, and hopefully it'll open up the Wii for even more hardcore titles.

Piece of trivia for Battlestar Galactica fans. The voice of Mr. Ford is Mark Sheppard, who played the slightly-sleazy lawyer, Romo Lampkin.

You know...

For Wii, the graphics don't really look all that bad, and the premise doesn't look any more or less believeable then the average FPS, since all FPS storylines are based off retarded bull*****. Actually kinda interesting...

Finally!

A reason to dust off my Wii!

ORLY?

Why would any company want to take a chance with a unique game when they can just crank out the same crap over and over and people will buy it so long as it has a popular name attached to it. What's the last unique game you've bought? Not trying to peg you on anything, but seriously, most buyers don't have excess money to blow on games that may or may not suck, so developers aren't wanting to take risks developing games people may or may not buy.

DUDE!

Great graphics, and hands down the best controls for any FPS ever. This is a big one fellas. This is the Wii shooter expierence we;ve been waiting for, all other third parties are gonna want to put their FPS on the Wii after this gem. Wait 'n see.

ha!

I thought the ultimate fps on wii was suppossed to be red steel, we all saw how that turned out. And nothing will ever beat a pc for FPS, and the wii controls work for on rail shooters but not fps

uhhh

Red Steel was the first FPS on the Wii, ofcourse they weren't gonna nail it. Pc's whole mouse keyboard set up is nice, but oldschool. With the Wii, your holding the gun in your hand. Doesn't get anymore better than that. Why would the Wii be limited to on rail shooters?? Nunchuck moves character, Wiimote aims, shoots..... whats so difficult?

seems to me..

that the enemy AI is really dumb. but i guess its because the person playing the game wouldn't get all that time to land a head shot if it were on hard.

enemies look familiar??

aside from the humans, this game is hardcore ripping the enemies right outta Metroid Prime
