To tell you honestly, a day here in the QJ labs ain't complete without the usual dash of Wii rumors. Be it about the next-gen console's price tag, launch date, specs, Wiimote "secrets", another name change... Name it and most likely we've dished them out to you. All in all, we have reported around 161 Wii rumors, some were confirmed to be true, while some has been gathering up dust in the unconfirmed gossips department.In fact, Wii rumors are so hot right now that a particular website had given a considerable amount of time just to compile every Wii backfence talks that made the rumor mills and netvine. The gossips range from really old rumors -- "GameCube 2" and "Xbox 2" will use the same hardware, possibly even the same machine (false); to recent ones like the undetermined rumor about that Nintendo event to be held in September which would be a tell-all about the Wii.
Also listed are the outrageous and false chatters like the controller featuring gyros, twistable prongs, and squeezable handgrips. Another crazy one spoke of how the controller will emit heat. Even the Wii's front flap was scrutinized by gamers like K9 units in a drug bust. But there were those who were confirmed to be true. Confirmed rumors include the Wii and Nintendo DS connectivity among many others.

Everyone is just guessing at this point. Some people's guesses are coming true and some arent. Just because someone guesses something correctly doesnt mean they have the inside scoope. I think alot of 'news' sites are just coming up with educated guesses on what will probably come with the wii, make up the wii and how much the wii will cost. For all we know, we could be way off. I just hope the wiimote handles well and doesnt get old and gimmicky. oh and 1st post btw
I want to start up a new Rumor. Whos with me togeather we could get like gamespot and gametrailers.. IGN all these sites to spread our Rumor.
It has to be beleviable so lets just say that the Wii cures cancer and can go back in time.
