hsHironobu Sakaguchi has had a wonderful career in the industry. From his glory days with Squaresoft, to setting up his own shop, Mistwalker. Now why am I talking about that? Well, we've had a lot of titles with the word "last" on it, but for Mistwalker's The Last Story, there may be more to the title than it seems. This Wiixclsuive action-RPG might be Hironobu Sakaguchi's last game.

“Me and my team poured 120% of our energy into this title," said Sakaguchi, who founded Mistwalker in 2004. "I am completely pouring everything into this one, there is a strong feeling this may be my last work. “

Sakaguchi is better known for his work with Squaresoft, which eventually merged with Enix in 2003. This accomplished game designer, director, and producer is responsible for Final Fantasy, his last one being Final Fantasy X. Sakaguchi also played major roles in other Squaresoft franchises such as Chrono Trigger, Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story, and Bushido Blade.

No wonder Square Enix lost their epic magic. It was all because of this one guy.

Anyway, if this is his last work, he better go out with a bang with this game being a 10 and showing all who doubt the Wii that it's NOT to be underestimated.
