The Conduit game manual: Meet Mr. Ford, and the Drudge

High Voltage Software studios has released the game manual for their 2009 game, The Conduit. The game's looking like it's going to be the next big FPS game for the Wii since Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Although we have to admit, their Mr. Ford doesn't look like he can stand two rounds with Samus.

The game manual reveals a lot of new info on the game, from the invading alien force known as the Drudge, to Mr. Ford, the game's protagonist who's so important to the fate of the world that his name demands the title of "mister." The manual also has info on various weapons, locations, and artifacts you'll encounter in the game.

Despite Mr. Ford's tendency to pose like a 70's spy hero, this game looks like it has a lot of potential. We're hoping to see something more from this game in the future though, since the trailer kinda left us hanging, and the manual doesn't exactly help make the wait easier. At any rate, here's the manual. Click on the images to enlarge:

Me either, I can't wait to get my hands on this one. This is the sort of game I got the Wii for, right here.

What kind of supposedly hard protagonist gets called "Mr"? Why not just "Ford"? Or, better yet, an actually cool name?

As for the game, I'm looking forward to it, too. But We've already been disappointed with Alone in the Dark; apparently it's full of bugs and glitches and generally doesn't look or feel finished. Let's hope this one delivers.

When I read Mr. Ford in the home page link to this forum I thought it was Mr. Ford from GM the Automaker. They couldve name it like Spark or Voltio or something like that, besides, the company name is High Voltage .
