According to Sega, there are still some things that needs taking care of so that they can add "balance and enhance the game's multiplayer, one of the key features and focuses during the development of this ambitious sequel."
Back in August, rumors were strongly circulating in the industry that some staff were laid off over at High Voltage Software. While that was never really confirmed, there's no saying if being short-staffed is one of the reasons why The Conduit 2 keeps getting pushed back. You can't finish a job, after all, with less hands working on it.
