The Beatles: Rock Band to feature "never been heard, never been released" material

The Beatles - Image 1George Harrison's son Dhani, has been at the helm working on The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) alongside Harmonix since the project began two years ago. In his latest interview with Billboard, the multi-talented Dhani Harrison reveals that the upcoming Rockband title will feature Beatles material "that has never been heard, never been released."

Dhani also mentioned that The Beatles: Rock Band is "totally, historically accurate" as far as the band is concerned, from the band's formation to the breakup.

Unreleased Beatles material, eh? Somehow I doubt it's gonna be Beatles songs. Why wait for a video game to release the songs, right? But hey, if John Lennon and the gang made a few songs before disbanding, I'll be glad to hear it.

You're worthless!

Unreleased Beatles material? I think it's real, since the Beatles are directly involved with the development of the game. This will be a huge selling point. Non-gamers would buy this *****.

Because you're obviously some 12 year old life-reject who doesn't even know who the Beatles are, and also doesn't know how popular Rock Band is either. The Beatles are one of the most well known, influential and popular bands of all time, literally.

Saying this game will sell poorly is like saying MGS5 will sell poorly. Even if the game was a pile of crap, it'd still sell tons of copies.

that anyone bashing this game should put there age and type of music they listen to. I personally think that this game will sell about as well as GH: Metallica. But that because most gammers never listened to this kind of music. To me is sounds kind of cool. Like a VH1 behind the music special mixed with a video game.

I'll probably rent it, but unreleased Beetles songs? I kinda doubt it... (oh, and zzk2001, congrats, you're now the second person in the world to ever hate the Beetles, which means nobody likes you, nor cares of your opinion :)

Well I guess I'm the third person in the world, according to your pathetic and inaccurate means of collecting information about what music people don't like, etc. I seriously doubt you've gone out in the world, and asked at least most of the world (of which there are a LOT of people, in case you didn't know that, which you probably didn't..) their opinion on the Beatles' music. Screw you, I care about his opinion. And I don't care about you!

I've never seen so many ppl who hate the Beatles in one spot.

I also love how all these people are saying it won't sell well just because THEY don't like the Beatles. I said before and I say again, the Beatles are still one of the highest grossing bands every year, sorry it's a fact not something you can argue with, this game will sell tons even at $250. Anyone who thinks otherwise is dumb

I agree that even non-gamers will buy this, some people love the Beatles so much they'll probably buy a console just to play this

Wolfey, you realize reacting like that is only HURTING the opinion you are trying to defend?

I personally dont really enjoy the Beetles music, but I am not so blind to not realize that they are one of the most popular bands in history.
