More entries are trickling in for the ongoing TehSkeen Wi Coding Competition. For this batch of releases, we've got Smashing v1.0 by warpfish and CosmoRaketti v1.0 by Tapsa. Now, let's take them one by one, shall we?
Smashing v1.0 is a 3D arcade shooting game that 's got "amazingly fully rendered levels". For this release, you will find the Garden and Street levels, each with their own single and multiplayer modes (vs and co-op).
Another thing you'd have to note about this game is that it's been tested on 4:3 and widescreen PAL TVs, but not yet on NTSC, so there may or may not be issues with that. Also, you can expect the Room level to be included in the next release. The devs didn't feel it was ready yet, so you'll have to wait for that one. Oh, and while this is not strictly a party game, they suggest you play it with a friend still cos it's much more fun that.
Now on to the other release, CosmoRaketti v1.0. This is also a 3D space shooter, where you play as the pilot of your ship (with up to four of your friends) along a fully 3D environment. This shooter means serious business as your task is to shoot *everything* that comes along your way.
Here are the controls for CosmoRaketti v1.0:
- Hold the Wiimote like a toy airplane
- Turn the Wiimote left, right, up or down to move
- Hold A or B to shoot
- Home button exits the game
