The XCM V-Box, by Team Xtender - Image 1

The Team Xtender group is making known their plans to release more products in the near future, which starts off with their new XCM V-Box device for the Nintendo Wii. Barring the Xbox reference (actually, it does look like a chibi-Xbox 360...) the V-Box is described as an adapter that will allow Wii owners to use their PC/laptop's display in place of a traditional TV screen. Going into the V-Box's other reported features:
  • Crystal Clear Picture Screen.
  • Supports USB 2.0, plug and play, does not require changing configuration
  • Supports Streaming Video, can be stored in multiple formats including: (MPEG-1/MPEG-2/MPEG-4/AVI/VCD/DVD/SVCD)
  • Supports multiple picture file formats such as: JPEG and GIF..
  • Supports multiple input formats such as (NTSC/PAL/SECAM)
  • Auto playback, allows you to store in game action to your PC/laptop
  • Additional optional addon recorder.
  • Can be adjusted such as: Brightness/contrast/Image sharpness/fullness/color)
  • Support Windows 2000/XP operating systems.
Pricing and exact release dates are  unavailable for the moment - keep alert when Team Xtender announces these details. We imagine some of the other Wii owners will get plenty of use out of this adapter, especially given that the Wii can work on the GBA, and has already been modded (unofficially) into a laptop-sized package.

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

Aside from letting the average Joe grab screenshots, what would be the other purposes for this device?

Well, I can see where this would come in handy, you can store your gameplay on your computer with the help of this device, so if you have some sort of Nerdy Meeting, then you can show off your skillz without having to bring your gaming console. So see even though this device can only do a few things, It is still pretty handy dandy.

And the person who said everyone below me is gay, is Immature, can't you grow up?
