Team Twiizers' SaveMii Recovery Dongle now available on Amazon |
Ó
Good news for Wiibrewers who were unlucky enough to brick their console. Team Twiizers comes to your rescue with the SaveMii Recovery Dongle, which is now available on Amazon.Mass production of the dongle has been in the works since September, when Team Twiizers realized that there was a large demand for it.
The product feature says that it "allows recovery or repair of many 'bricked' Wii consoles," and is also "useful for firmware development." Here's the complete product description:
SaveMii is a small dongle that is plugged into a Wii's Gamecube memory card slot. It mimicks a test interface that is believed to be used in Nintendo's own facilities (dubbed Waikiki by Nintendo).
When the System Menu is started and such a device is found, much of the System Menu's code is skipped. Instead, the System Menu checks the validity of the disk, runs an update from the inserted disk if present, and then tries to start a diagnostic also known autoboot disk.
This will allow updates from legit Wii disks to fix the system data. Or, if the Wii's system hasn't been updated to version 3.3 yet and is equipped with a modchip, even run custom-made disks containing updates or homebrew tools to modify the system.
You can purchase one after the Amazon link below.

You could try this solution first
http://www.qj.net/SaveMiiFrii-unbrick-a-Wii-using-only-a-GameCube-controller/pg/49/aid/125797
If that doesn't work, the guys at HackMii will be in a better position to know if SaveMii can fix yours, since I haven't tried it out myself. You can ask them here:

if only I had a GameCube controller I would try this I'll probably order one some time later and I hope it works
