Samus Aran - Image 1Even without Tomonobu Itagaki and a few other core members, the members of Team Ninja are still known for their knack for emphasizing female assets. Proof? Check out Rachel in the E3 trailer for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Anyway, now that the Tecmo team is up for a Metroid project, it'd be interesting to know what plans they have for its darling heroine Samus Aran. Will we be seeing more of Samus? Or will they stick to what she's already got?

New Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi noted that they'll be keeping things classy, so those hoping for a transparent Power Suit with leather straps better hold their horses. "Every female character in our games is as attractive as possible, both inside and out", Hayashi said. "There has to be something attractive."

Looking at the E3 trailer for Other M, it didn't seem like Team Ninja gave Samus the Hollywood treatment, so it's still possible that the team would leave Samus' current look alone and not sex it up further. "...as long as we provide that in the one place - the inside - that's what's important with this game," Hayashi added. Isn't that sweet?

They wouldn't need to maximize her breasts like the DOA girls. They'll probably amplify her curves though, thats something they could get away with and the fans who would complain wouldn't cry bloody murder.

I wasn't even thinking about the Team Ninja effect until I saw this article, now I'm oh so curious lol
