Target Wii code cracked? |

Yep. The Wii rumor mill just keeps going round and round with yet even more fodder this time around. One would think that with the release date so close, the rumors would finally stop, but apparently this isn't the case as there are still some buzzer-beating bits out there. The latest one has been dubbed as "The Wii Target Code" (insert more Dan Brown/Leonardo Da Vinci puns here), as rift029 from the IGN boards has suggested a way that SUPPOSEDLY allows you to determine just how many Wii units your local Target branch has in stock.
Basically, the process involves finding out your chosen Target branch's store number. This can be done by either looking it up in the phonebook or giving the store a call and asking for it. Then you'll have a series of numbers with you which looks like this:
3 124 191 551 24 3
The first number in the sequence means that you're looking at store #3, while the second to the last number means that that branch will have 24 Wiis.
Sounds simple enough, doesn't it? However, this method is yet to be tested if it's true, so if anyone cares to give this a try, please do let us know if it works.

Why would the store's store number, which is assigned when the store is built, happen to predict the future of how many Wii's they will have?
You guys suck at posting news.
