Here in QJ, everyone's input matters. Whether you're 2 years old or 69, you'd always have something to say. That's why when a Kotaku writer's 5-year-old son gets his hands on a Wiimote, we're all ears.

Remember last week when he took a shot at the SIXAXIS? Today, it's the Wiimote, and he's also playing a racing game. As opposed to last week's Riiiiidge Raaaacer, this time he's taking Excite Truck for a spin. He seems to have fun. You can clearly see it in the sparkle of his star-studded eyes and hear his giddiness while playing the game and working on the controller.

Cuteness aside, though, when he was asked about which controller he liked the best, his answer was... pretty obvious. We won't give away his full review; that's what the Play button below is for!

And as with last week, it's amusing to note that he's still in that zombified state in which his responses are rather... aloof. Who could blame him though? Because whether you're 5-years-old or 25 pitted against a Wiimote for the first time, you'd be like zombies zoning out as well. Trust us, we know the feeling too well.

# Wii controller is awsomeVietone 2006-11-13 12:25
I went to my local gamestop today and i was stunned when they had a Wii kiosk.

I went to the counter, asked to play, gave my ID to him to get the Wii-mote and started playing a demo of Excite truck or something like that, it was a dirt racer.

For the first couple tries it was extremely difficult to get use to the tilting. But after like 5 minutes I was totally into the controller. I was drifting, bashing the AI players and getting first place like it was nothin.

I have to say the position you hold the wii-mote is very uncomfortable for racers. Your hands are placed fairly close to each other and it feels very very flimsy in your hands. But the controls are great, its one of the most fun moments I had playing a racer and it felt very cool not being restricted to the minor movements of a thumb stick just to make a slight left or right turn.

In terms of the Wii-mote and the SixAxis controller, I think motion sensing is a winner. It definitely places you more into the game without having to spend the money on a wheel, finding a table thats just the right height to play it on, and those pesky pedals that just get in the way.

The Wii will be a success with such a fun way to play games. I think Microsoft R & D are back to the drawing board to counter the motion sensing of the Wii and PS3, initial reviews will place these game mechanics very very high.
