Taito strikes back with new Space Invaders Get Even screenshots |

We're pretty sure you've had to fight off waves of those pesky 8-bit aliens at some point in your life, but what's it like looking at the whole space invader business from their point of view? Taito has recently released some new screenshots showing off another title which continues the new Space Invaders franchise with Space Invaders Get Even for the Nintendo Wii.
The game puts you in the role of an army of two-dimensional invaders as you try to take over the world from their eyes by using your Wiimote and Nunchuk to direct your savage hordes of alien units. Despite the 2D nature of your forces, the game is set in a fully 3D environment with various areas for your army to wreak havoc on.
Judging from the screenshots, the game looks quite promising as an innovative way to reintroduce the franchise ever since it was first released way back in 1978. There weren't a lot of details explained about the game, but we'll be sure to keep everyone updated as soon as we receive anything new regarding it.
