It certainly has been a while, but the developers at Pronto Games have brought some new life into The Destiny of Zorro, Pronto's upcoming title for the Nintendo Wii, by releasing some new screenshots from the game. Judging from the visuals, it isn't hard to guess how the game will make extensive use of the Wii's intuitive motion sensing controls as you weave your way past the many masked villains you're sure to encounter in the game.
It certainly gives a more authentic feel as you play the role of Diego de la Vega (a.k.a. Zorro) as you use the Wiimote to attack your foes using both sword and whip. At the very least, you'll get a thrill out of painting other people's shirts with Zorro's signature "Z"-slash.
In any case, the game is set to be released this February and will be exclusive for the Wii console. In the meantime, check out some of the swashbuckling screenshots from the game below.
