Take-Two's other franchises - Image 1Surfer Girl has made a name dishing out insider rumors in the gaming scene. In her latest batch of rumors, she maintains a sense of credibility by pointing out her own mistake. This is regarding a prediction about Take-Two's Red Dead Revolver.

Actually, the error on this one is marginal. Last January, she was asked about Rockstar Games' non-L.A. Noire Playstation 3 exclusive. She answered it was the "spiritual successor" to Red Dead Revolver. As it turns out, it was a sequel and not a spiritual successor. She added that this sequel will see an official announcement this year followed by a 2009 release.

Surfer Girl had more faith with Red Dead Revolver than the following games which turned out to be true: 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand and Sonic Unleashed. Now, on to the rest of her rumors:
  • Ubisoft has a fashion design casual title
  • a team at EA RS is currently working away at a new Simpsons' title
  • there is word going around that Ken Williams (retired dev of Sierra fame) will be returning
But again, dear readers, we need our regular dose of salt on this. Rumors, rumors, remember.

» Stop posting this *****.

Surfer Girl wrong about Red Dead Revolver? No *****. You have to be a complete idiot to believe what that person says. Wanna know why she's wrong? Cause she's a woman. lmao

» No it's not cuz she's a woman

... it's because he/she's full of crap. Most the stuff he/she says is either rehashed from speculation months ago OR just completely useless. Fashion game? Don't care! Someone's tinkering on an easily sell-able IP (the Simpsons) ... er duh.

I see her r-tarded cohort SkaterBoy gave it up... she could do us the favor to do the same.

» Please stop discriminating against this woman...

Treat her like you would treat any useless blogger.

Ignore her.
