Super Smash Bros. Brawl update: Wi-Fi goodness through Share mode |
Ó
We've all seen various aspects of Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Wi-Fi capabilities in action, from online multiplayer battles to the casual Spectator mode. This weekend update focuses on tweaking your settings to properly allow your console to accept the data sharing options available for the game.
The most important thing to remember is to set your Nintendo WFC options to accept the Smash Service if you want to be able to receive updates sent by Nintendo such as screenshots and other goodies available for download.
Since the downloaded data from Nintendo will gradually be overwritten over time, there's no need to worry about it eating up too much space on your console's memory.
However, you do have to watch out for the downloads received from your Friends. This is permanently stored on your console until you decide to transfer it out via an external storage device or simply erase it to make space.
Any downloads you make or that have arrived from Friends will be announced on a message board when you start up your game. So if you find yourself running out of space, just send those screenshots to your friends and preserve those picture perfect Brawl moments forever.
