Super Smash Bros. Brawl Update: quick techniques |
Finding it a wee bit too difficult to survive fights in Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Well, this particular update of ours will be featuring the quick techniques you guys can use to your advantage.
Aside from the regular updates that we've been providing you, we hope that this article can increase your fighting skills in the game. Though brawling might be too much to handle, these techniques can help you level the battlefield and ultimately help you in achieving victory.
Ukemi
When you're hit and just about to come in contact with the ground, wall, or ceiling, tap the shield button. You'll be performing a simple bounce which cancels your previous momentum.
This neat little trick can help you in gaining your balance once again when you're in fights.
Perfect Shield
Now this technique can be quite tricky since timing is key. Just before an enemy strikes blow, quickly press the shield button. You'll be performing this spectacular move which will enable you to strike back in an instant.
Stale-Move Negation
This is not really a technique because it does something different. Whenever you use a same attack over and over, the damage it can cause will decrease. That's the purpose of this technique. Rather than relying on a repeated attack, try mixing some up for variety. After all, doing an attack over and over gets boring at some point.
Glancing Blows
Just like the Stale-Move Negative, this is not really a technique. Rather, it's a feature. Whenever you hear a "chik", that only means your attack just barely hit your opponent. Simply put, it tells you to try harder and do better in smashing your enemy to pieces.
Swim
As for this part, do take note of that fact that you can only swim for a very limited time only as you will inevitably go down, sink, and then drown.
The more damage you've received, the less time you'll be able to spend swimming on the water.
Small Jump
Now this certain technique is very crucial when involved in a brawl. You will be able to do whenever your see your character do a momentary animation. When this takes place, release the jump button. Tadah! You've just performed a small jump!
Pivot Grab
While dashing, you can hurl your enemies far off by pressing the direction opposite your current heading while performing a grab. Hopefully, you get to throw your foe far, far, far, far, far away.
Eating While Reclining
Treat yourself to some nutritious delights even when you're down on the ground. Simply hit the A button and watch your character gobble down some of the munchies that are nearby.
Breaking Reflectors
You can actually deflect an incoming projectile back to its source, your enemy. When you do, the initial damage will be increased. Do take note that your opponent can do the same as well. If the charge gets too high, the projectile will be able to break down through the reflecting devices.
Whew! There you have it, another lengthy but informative update on this game. Hopefully, these helpful tidbits can help you guys have a smashing good time!
