In this latest Super Smash Bros. Brawl update from Nintendo, Ike of Fire Emblem fame now shows off his sheer strength with his two special moves: the Aether and Eruption. His Up special move, Aether, lets Ike throw his sword (and his poor victim) up in the air, and catch it in midair to plunge the sword right back to earth, pummeling his opponent in the process. Pretty suave and ethereal, yes?

What's good about the Aether in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is that it makes Ike resistant to attacks for a short while after throwing the sword, but he's not invincible. Ike will still take damage but will not flinch at any damage received.

To make things even hotter, this warrior's got Eruption, Ike's standard special move that lets him send a burst of flame to his poor (charred) opponents. What's even better is that it can be charged: the stronger the charge, the bigger the fireworks!

Stay tuned for more Super Smash Bros. Brawl updates here at QJ!

First!!!!!!

its good that he can charge his standard attack. they should have something like for all the characters. I also head rumors that sonic can go super sonic in the game (Final Smash...of course). They say that mario will have some kind of super mode like fire mario and he'll be able to run faster, jump higher and do all kinds of fire attacks. not to mention take little damage from fire moves. Could anyone tell me if any of that is true or not?

Of course that's not true

Sonic hasn't been confirmed yet, and we already know Mario's Final Smash is the "Mario Finale".
