We have a DK-filled extravaganza featuring the latest update from the Smash Bros. DOJO!! website. It's all about Donkey Kong in today's update for Nintendo and Sora Ltd.'s Super Smash Bros. Brawl as we take a look at the great ape's special moves and tailor-made retro stage for the game.

It's easy to guess that DK is one of the power characters in the game, and it definitely shows with the various hard hitting moves he can pull off. Case in point is his standard special move, the Giant Punch, which can become a fatal one-punch KO if timed just right.

However, a lot of you may think that while this move may be extra strong, it's also extra slow. Fortunately, the developers created a setup special move especially for DK's fighting style with the Head Butt. Bury your opponent into the ground with this move then pull off the Giant Punch at your leisure.

To top off this special DK update, one of the hidden stages for Brawl features the original game where Donkey Kong first starred in. Yep, it's the 75m stage where DK first appeared as the titular character of the 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong.

The stage definitely brings some back memories, especially for the old school gamers who played the original version of DK's first video game. However, don't think that the 2D sprites found here are just for show. The 2D Donkey Kong can pack quite a punch if you happen to cross his path.

Anyway, that's it for today's brawling update. Keep coming back to this spot as we catch more interesting characters and stages from Super Smash Bros. Brawl to show you.
