Super Smash Bros. Brawl update: button configuration section |

It's time for another Super Smash Bros. Brawl update from Nintendo and Sora Ltd., and this time we learn about the customization of the controls in Brawl. This isn't the plain vanilla button configuration section: players will be able to assign button settings for four kinds of controls: NES-style Wii remote, Gamecube controller, Classic Controller, and the Wiimote-and-Nunchuk combo.
But that's not all. To add further convenience and personal touch into the game, button configurations can be saved and assigned to a name. One name can handle configurations for all four controls that can be selected before each game, effectively eliminating the need to spend precious few minutes over customizing button settings every time the controller changes hands.
Also, there's an option that enables Brawlers to toggle Tap Jump on or off. When turned off, players can execute Up attacks without having to jump into the air.
Nintendo also added a small extra to Brawlers who prefer to play using the Wiimote and Nunchuk: there's a neat "Shake Smash" function which lets players easily perform Smash Attacks by shaking the Wiimote.
It's remarkable that Sora Ltd. and Nintendo paid a lot of attention to detail on one of the most understated sections of every decent fighting games. Do check this space for more Super Smash Bros. Brawl updates!
