According to game developer Sora Ltd., the rules in this mode are essentially the same as the Boss Battles. In the All Stars mode, you will need to battle each and single character that will appear.
Don't fret though as you will have the opportunity to proceed to the Rest Station in-between fights to refresh the stats of your character. There will be a total of 19 battles in the All Star mode and they will appear in the following order:
- Battle 1: Game & Watch
- Battle 2: Mario Bros.
- Battle 3: Donkey Kong
- Battle 4: Ice Climber
- Battle 5: R.O.B.
- Battle 6: The Legend of Zelda
- Battle 7: Metroid
- Battle 8: Kid Icarus
- Battle 9: Metal Gear
- Battle 10: EarthBound
- Battle 11: Fire Emblem
- Battle 12: Yoshi
- Battle 13: F-Zero
- Battle 14: Sonic The Hedgehog
- Battle 15: KirbyÂ’s Dream Land
- Battle 16: Star Fox
- Battle 17: WarioWare, Inc.
- Battle 18: Pokemon
- Battle 19: Pikmin
