Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii - Image 1Japanese blogger Sinobi has allegedly gotten hold of some leaked sales numbers from Famitsu which revealed that Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl sold 500,000 copies in Japan on its first day.

If the information is accurate, then it means that 80% of the initial stock of Super Smash Bros. Brawl has already been purchased by gamers from that region.

This would also mean that this game is now the fastest-selling Wii game in Japan. It's interesting to note that this report can explain the shortage of the video game in the country

It was pretty much expected that Super Smash Bros. Brawl would be posting some pretty amazing sales numbers when it came out in Japan. We're going to have to wait for the official numbers to come in before we confirm this report.
