Ever wonder what controls will be implemented in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Well, another update on the official website, Super Smash DOJO has revealed what controllers are compatible with the upcoming video game from Nintendo. As you can see in the image on the right, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will have full use of the Wiimote, the Wiimote and Nunchuk, the classic controller, and the GameCube controller. So it really boils down to a matter of preference. You want the rumble? Use a GameCube controller. You want "immersive" controls? Try the Wiimote and Nunchuk combination. Whichever one you choose is bound to get you immersed in the game.
We wonder how the Wiimote controls work. Anyway, news as they happen, so stay glued.

GameCube controller is my choice and I think that everyone who has played SSBM extensively will choose it over the rest.
Classic controller, I'll give it a try but for some reason I don't think it will fit for Smash Bros, never really used it before but it just seems like a less comfortable Gamecube controller.
Wiimote Sideways would be cool, I like using it like that, but with no joystick, I can't see how that is going to be better than the rest. =/
Wiimote and Nunchuck is going to be good and for the people who want a change in gameplay styles, they will choose this first. I'm just wondering how are you going to smash? Will you flick the nunchuck or something? That'll be fun the first few times but I can't see smooth gameplay coming from it.

I was toying with it last night without having it plugged in and I found it very easy to pull off any button combo people told me unlike with the gamecube controller where i would sometimes miss the x or y button which will no doubt be used for attacks this time around rather than jumping.
I don't see myself using the sideways method unless I feel I need to. It seems to be a way of letting people play it that for whatever reason don't have a nunchuck.
as far as the Standard control (Wiimote + nunchuck) I don't know. I'll take a look at it and will probably use it when playing with family members but any online battling will be done with the classic controller. I don't want to take any risks with the motion sensing.
