The characters included in Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl are popular in one way or another. This next character is well known - unless you've been living under a rock the past ten or so years. The heroine of the Metroid Prime series, Samus Aran is the subject of today's Smash Bros. DOJO! site update.
Samus Aran was created by Makoto Kanoh and designed by Horoji Kiyokate and first appeared in 1986's Metroid. The images and screenshots shown in the official site currently show Samus in her shiny Power Suit. Her primary weapon, the power suit's arm cannon, reportedly contains a number of different weapons. We'll have to wait to find out what those weapons (and probably attacks as well) are.
Anyway, we'll keep you posted on more information about Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii. In the meantime, take a look at the screenshots.

wow. looking at these screenshots make me wonder. She'll most likely use atacks from metroid games on the gamecube and corruption. This game is the prime reason I'm getting a Wii.

The site made no mention of Samus transforming into Zero Suit Samus, like Zelda to Sheik. I guess that means that Zero Suit Samus will be a seperate playable character.
They might just be stretching it out since they have 2 have a new post each weekday

Well, they didn't say, because you have to unlock that version of Samus. like Mario, you had to unlock Dr. Mario

Well said. I can't wait to play online. I'm getting sick of fighting computers since they mostly do some of the same things every other time (Samus keeps grabing in high level ANNOYING) It's time for some unique and exilerating competition!
