Super Pangya Golf will be Tecmo's first Wii title. It's based on a very popular PC title that has over 7 million players. The Wii version will not be online but will instead feature a one player mode not found in the PC version. Offline multiplayer is of course included and the game will obviously use the WiiMote as a golf club.Something new that came up is that characters from other Tecmo franchises will be in the game. The trailer showed Kasumi from Dead or Alive making a shot at the end and it's likely others will make an appearance as well. The development team is being headed up by Kaguchi who worked on the Tokobot and Fatal Frame games. They are aiming for a Q1 2007 release, but hope to make it for the initial Wii launch window. We should see much more on it at the Tokyo Game Show in September.

Wait that sounds like a R. Kelly joke... but anyway I forgot such a crossover was possible! The game looks fun and I hope it makes launch (or will it be late to the party like DOA4...)
A Korean development company headed by a Japanese guy? Thats kinda of weird don't you think? Or is it that there are two teams and the Japan team is headed by Kaguchi?
