Super Mario Galaxy launches early in London with Charles Martinet

Lucky folks in New York are getting a midnight launch for Super Mario Galaxy. Those in Europe, though, get an extra treat. The GAME store at Oxford Street in London will hold a launch event on the 15th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a special guest appearance of Charles Martinet, the man behind the m of red-capped plumber Mario.

He's had quite a lot of things to say about working on Super Mario Galaxy - he even got to play a little preview of it ahead of everyone else. Now, he's gracing London fans with his presence during the launch at GAME.

The event kicks off Mario's next great adventure - an intergalactic adventure, no less - a day earlier than everyone else in Europe. This GAME-exclusive launch will be complete with costume-wearing contests and prizes to be won. More specific event details at the Via link below.

The title of this article should be : "Super Mario Galaxy launches early in London with Charles Martinet", not "in Europe"...
