Super Mario Collection dated for Europe, special edition red Wii still for Japan only

Previously believed to be for Japan only, Europe will definitely be glad to know that Nintendo's Super Mario Collection for the Wii has been dated for their continent as well.

Europe will be getting the super collection on December 3rd, thereby making sure that Euro fans will be able to join in on the festivities for Mario's 25th anniversary. The collection will feature Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, and SMB: The Lost Levels. On top of all that, they will also be throwing in "a bunch of extra collectables."

Earlier, Nintendo also announced the special Super Mario Bros. edition of the Wii, which will be splashing some color to the console with Mario's favorite color, red. It will come bundled with a matching Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk, and an exclusive latered version of SMB. This one will be available on November 11, 2010 in Japan, and will be priced at ¥20,000 ($243).

Japan and Europe sure are getting a lot of treats for Mario's 25th anniversary. What about you, Nintendo of America? What are we getting?

Ah hell no, you can't just release a 17 year old game now without at least touching up the graphics, i mean Snes Super Mario all stars improved the graphics from the Nes games so they should at least bring graphics up to near NSMB levels, this is just a lazy cash-in on the Mario name and i expect more from Nintendo.

No Super Mario world, or Super Mario world 2: Yoshi's island??? What the...

I woudl lvoe a SMW like New Super Mario Bros Wii graphics... but with all the 96 levels!!!
