SMB: The Lost Levels and Mario's Super Picross in Europe/Au VC now - Image 1European and Australian Wii owners, heads up! We just got word from Nintendo that the classic Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels has just gone live and can be downloaded from the Virtual Console in your territories.

Aside from that, the newly rated Mario's Super Picross is already available as well for download. If you've noticed, we've been getting quality VC releases these past few weeks and there's an excellent explanation for that.

Nintendo is celebrating the "Hanabi Festival" the whole month of September and it is actually planning to release some more titles that were only launched in Japan as part of the event.

For example, fans in Europe and Australia can also expect to see NES game Ninja Gaiden, SNES shoot 'em up Gradius III, Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun, and the highly elusive Sin and Punishment in the coming weeks. Pricing for the said titles and actual release dates are yet to be determined though.

Speaking of which, Mario's Super Picross was priced for 900 Wii Points while The Lost Levels can be acquired for just 600 Wii Points. The latter is some sort of a collector's item as Nintendo intends to pull it out after the Hanabi Festival on September 30.
