Sudoku puzzle game - Image 1The ever popular Sudoku puzzle game has been on just about every platform you can imagine. From mobile phones to even homebrew versions on handhelds, it's no surprise to find yet another incarnation on the Nintendo Wii console, courtesy of developer bmic.

Sudoku version 0.2b makes use of better sprites and audio compared to other similar releases on the Wii. The controls for the game make use of the sideways NES-style through the Wiimote. To give you a better idea of how to play the game, here's a list of its different controls taken from the developer's project website:
  • Directional Pad (D Pad) to control navigation
  • 'home' button displays menu
  • '1' button decrements number
  • '2' button increments number
  • '+' button screen captures (if enabled)
  • '-' button saves game to SD card
  • 'A' button toggles 'uncertain' marking for the cells.
If you're also interested in how the game was coded, we've also provided a copy of the source code through the link below. For more information regarding Sudoku 0.2b, you can check out the developer's site through the Via link.
