Suda 51 and Wada reveal No More Heroes secrets at launch event |

Grasshopper Manufacture and Marvelous Entertainment's No More Heroes now went full blast in their media blitz, following its announcement that the game will be released in both North America and Europe on February next year.
The game's latest media event, the No More Heroes Premium Press Review Demo Event (whew, that's a lot), was held in Shibuya on November 23, and none other than game producer Suda 51 made a guest appearance in the event.
He and Marvelous Entertainment's producer, Yasuhiro Wada, had a talk event in the press review, where they revealed some tidbits about what went on during the making of the game. Suda 51 admitted into getting fights with No More Heroes producer Hiroaki Kimura, but he emphasized that those kinds of conflict helped strengthen trust between developers.
Yasuhiro Wada also said that despite being the executive producer, he frequently visited the game developing outfit Grasshopper Manufacture and checked up on the game's progress. He and Suda 51 both worked on No More Heroes' control scheme, eventually asking a certain "Mr. M", a game creator whose identity they didn't divulge, for his input in the controls.
The talk event also revealed an interesting trivia in the making of the game: the cat that Travis takes care of in his room caused quite a fuss, that Suda 51 and the rest of the staff were stuck trying to perfect its animation for two whole months.
Were those two months devoted to the cat worth it? We'll just have to wait and see.
