Wii - Image 1Wii owners in Europe get only two new games on the European Virtual Console arm of the Wii Shop today. Sad? Don't be, since one of those two titles is the fighting game Street Fighter II: World Warrior. The other isn't a pushover either: Super Probotector: The Alien Rebels - a classic entry in the Contra series.

Everybody knows what Street Fighter is, but younger gamers might not remember Super Probotector. It's the, uh, "sanitized" version of Contra 3: Alien Wars. While all of the jaw-dropping bosses and the intense Contra action is still there, the enemy soldiers found in the original game were replaced with robots.

Just chalk up Super Probotector as another case of censorship and play it anyway, since it's still an awesome game. Both of these classic games go for 800 Wii Points apiece, just like all Super NES games.
