Stay "gaming"-fit with Wii exercises

WiiMost, if not, all of us, know that doing warm-ups is a must before we do any kind of rigorous activity. As such, we see players do some exercises before they plunge themselves into a game.

Now, I'm not really sure if the contestants at the World Cyber Games have a "gaming warm-up" of their own, but the British Chiropractic Association think that Wii players should, to avoid stiffness and possible injuries.

And what kind of "Wiixercises" should avid Wii fans engage in before playing? Well, there's the "Shoulder Shrug" to relax your shoulder muscles, and the "Wrist Stretch" to decrease stress on your wrists; among many others.

If you ask me, I find these "Wii warm-ups" rather feasible. My right hand's been hurting a lot lately, and I think my DS addiction is to blame. After all, countless hours of "stylus battles" can put a strain on one's wrist.

Now, that's just my experience. But who knows, maybe some Wii users are experiencing some wrist problems of their own too. It wouldn't hurt to give the BCA's "wrist stretch" a try, don't you think?
