You may have known Stars and Stripes as a daily published mag for "U.S. military, DoD civilians, contractors, and their families". First saw the lights of a printing press back in Europe 1942, it has been circulating ever since, having a readership of around 80,000 people. Stars and Stripes also prints supplements in special issues such as insurance, holiday shopping and gaming.

Yep, you heard it right - A gaming magazine printed by the same people who publishes a newspaper for the U.S. military. Called the Stars and Stripes Gamer, it is released bimonthly in hard copy or in PDF format. This month's issue features the revolutionary Nintendo Wii, the physics of gaming, and other topics that even non-military gamers would love.

I was reading the download version of this...and it says that the Wii will launch on Nov.17.....thats the same day that the PS3 comes out.I think they are wrong....PS3 and Wii the same day???
