Starfall v0.3: Wii System Menu hacks |

Ó

A few days ago we reported on a video posted by Wiibrew developer Crediar that showed off a hack that unlocked the Wii's services to become region-free. The hack had several other things it unlocked in the Wii that was rather interesting.
I was wondering when Crediar would release the application that allowed this hack, and, well, here it is! Note though, that this hack only works with System Menu 3.2E(v290). This basically serves as a patch rather than a substitute for Nintendo's own system menu, so any patch update would delete all hacks.
Here are the current features the program sports. Please read the documentation included in the download archive for more information.
- No healthwarning screen
- Region free GC games with video mode patch
- Region free Wii games
- Region free channels
- No mainmenu BGM
- Start rescue-menu when Y is held on 1st GC controller
- Remove rescue-menu diagnostic disc check

ZOMG GUIZE! I'm reporting hax to nint10doh!!! btw, I'm 14, though I'm pretending I'm nearly 21 and am at college kekekekeke
anyhow, this is brilliant work Crediar, I can finally uninstall the usb gecko dol I put into a wad to boot my JAP collection =D
though I wonder, will this semibrick like Waninkokos' app?
(doubt it but hey, Waninkoko mistook his app for being complete)

Also, I'd have to downgrade with Waninkoko's app, so I'd like to know beforehand if it's compatible.
Other than that, the rescue mode thing seems interesting. Almost like a recovery mode of sorts. Will our beloved Wii be blown wide open eventually like the PSP? Last thing the Wii needs is less third-party support...
