Spike VGAs reveal nominees for Wii game of the year

We're inching closer to the Spike TV Video Game Awards, where quite a few big names are already promising big reveals during the ceremony. Let's not forget about the awards, though, it is a game awards event after all. For the Nintendo Wii, these are the nominees for the best game on the system.

The Spike TV VGAs will be held on December 11th, 2010, so we'll know who'll bag the award then.

Spike TV is such a joke. They are attempting to cash in on the video game hype. I was born in 84, and have been playing games my whole life. I've never seen the need for an award show, no matter how commercial it may be. Not to say having one is a bad thing. Maybe we could have one that isn't on Spike TV.
